1、 Current situation of system power consumption
1. There are currently 28 high pole lights in the Shenchiwan Port area of Dongguan, each with 15 1000W high-pressure sodium lamps. Their operating power factor and efficiency are relatively low, and with the power of the ballast, the total power is about 462KW. The measured power supply voltage of the distribution boxes in the 28 poles is above 230V, especially in the late night when the voltage is even higher, which will cause significant electricity waste and shorten the service life of the lamps.
2. The control method is not intelligent. The current control method uses a regular time controller to control the switch, which cannot automatically adjust the on/off time and illumination according to the season and weather, nor can it be remotely monitored. In case of sudden weather changes or the need for temporary on/off of lights, personnel must be sent to the site to achieve it, which will increase the management and operation costs of high pole lights.
