Various imperceptible interferences on the public power grid pose a danger to your precision equipment:
A. Voltage fluctuation: caused by frequent start stop of the load. The allowable voltage fluctuation range for general imported equipment is ± 5%, while the voltage fluctuation of domestic power grids generally exceeds 10%. Frequent voltage fluctuations can lead to a decrease in processing/testing accuracy and product quality, shorten equipment lifespan, and even burn out components.
B. Power outage: Power outages lasting less than 300ms are called interruptions and are caused by local short circuits. A power outage lasting over 300ms is called a power outage. Instantaneous power outages and subsequent power outages can cause damage to precision equipment, ranging from circuit burnout to motor and motor equipment burnout.
C. Surge, peak, pulse: Inductive loads generate a large number of spikes, surges, pulses, burrs, and other issues in the power grid, which threaten the voltage resistance of components. According to statistics, 63% of electrical equipment maintenance is caused by surges and spikes.
D. Harmonic interference: Nonlinear loads cause waveform distortion, which can shorten the service life of electrical equipment, lead to misoperation of relay protection and automatic devices, and cause inaccurate measurement of electrical measuring instruments.
E. Three phase voltage imbalance: refers to the unequal voltage or phase angle between each phase, caused by the unbalanced load of each phase, resulting in a shortened service life of electrical equipment, accelerated replacement frequency of equipment components, and increased equipment maintenance costs.
Eight protection functions:
Overload protection: When the connected device exceeds its rated capacity, it automatically shuts off the output power to protect the user's device;
Overvoltage/undervoltage protection: When the voltage exceeds the regulated range, the voltage regulator will automatically shut down the output voltage to avoid accidents such as burning out electronic control board components caused by overvoltage and motor damage caused by excessive current caused by low voltage;
Phase loss/wrong phase protection: When there is a phase loss or wrong phase in the three-phase input, the voltage regulator immediately cuts off the output voltage and lights up the red light to ensure the safe use of electricity and prevent equipment damage;
SOVP protection: Equipment is most susceptible to significant damage during transient power outages and subsequent power outages. Generally, the surge current during transient power outages is 3-5 times higher than the mechanical starting current. This protection allows the voltage regulator to start at low voltage (soft start) in any situation, ensuring equipment safety;
Short circuit protection: When a short circuit occurs in the load, the voltage regulator immediately cuts off the power supply to protect the safety of the user's equipment;
Delay output protection: After the voltage regulator is powered on, it will adjust the voltage to the optimal value through self checking function before outputting power to ensure that the equipment is not damaged by impact;
Bypass protection setting: When the voltage regulator needs maintenance and repair, it can be easily switched to bypass off without rewiring, without delaying production work, and the original functions such as high/low voltage, instantaneous stop, short circuit, etc. can continue to be executed;
Attentive misoperation protection: Hidden panel design, users can understand the operating status from the LCD screen of the panel, saving the trouble of watching the meter reading. Can prevent accidental damage and shutdown caused by human error
